Stuck in the 10s with my 355
Well...we swapped my 4.10 gears for 4.33s because I have been 500rpm shy at the stripe all season...and thought that would put me in the 9.90s.
After making 5 passes spinning at Capitol Raceway with no track prep hardly...i lowered my launch rpm and added 25# more to the rear...and only netted a 10.14 @132.56mph with a 1.39 60'.
Weather wasn't good and we had 5 rain delays and finally got rained out before I could make another try leaving harder...but in good air it was a 10.04 pass according to the weather station.
So...the 255 radials are done....bald...worn out. Were putting 275 Hoosiers on today so we can finish the season. Over the winter we will change to 4.56 gears which should work better.
I wanted to go 9s on my little tires!!!
