Are 90/10's going to help that much?
I'm starting to think that traction is just a myth I'm not allowed to expierene. I took the lowering springs off the front of the car and put some stock 2.3 litre V6 springs up front. Still no traction. A guy at work had some 29 x 12.50 MT Sportsman tires laying around. I put them on and they fit enough to try out but not to really drive on. But yesterday I still spun that big *** tire from a 40 mph roll in 2nd. To some that may be bragging rights, but honestly it's annoying me. I know my right front strut is blown. It drops on its own if unbolted and you have to pull it up. The left front is a stock replacement that seems to be working normal. I have my lowering springs on Craigslist and plan on getting 90/10's with the money. Are these really going to drastically help? I also have LCARB's in the lowest hole, boxed control arms, and a mid length torque arm setup. It's a Spohn arm that has been shortened by 8".

try the lca's in the middle hole, the bottom hole tends hit the tires really really hard unless your car is WAY low.
also, the 90/10's will transfer weight and keep it transfered, where as a set of stock replacements will try to transfer then settle really fast, unloading the rearend. i think the 90/10's work, and my data says the same thing.
mt sportsman tires aren't exactly a traction monster...put a bias ply et street on it, something like a 28x11.5.

I'll try the middle hole and see what happens. The car isn't that low. I have stock V6 springs back and front that are not cut.
I wasn't sure how well the sportsman tires hook. I just thought that because of the size of the tire there's no way I should be spinning at 40. It's just almost a joke how easy it spins.
Running no front sway bar but the thickest factory rear one. I know I need slicks to really hook and get the times I want, but I want to get the suspension somewhat sorted out first. As of now the tires never hook long enough to really raise the front of the car at all. After the new struts, I am getting tires though. Just need to decide 26" or 28".

Lol, I feel like your trying to tell me something.
I need to win the freakin lottery right now. I found out my local track is closing in December and I really want a 12 flat or maybe high 11 second slip before that happens. But marathon training is here now and I also need money for race entries, shoes, food (yes this gets very expensive), and other stuff. Trying to balance the two is tough. And I have to take marathon training this year serious because I'm using it to set me up for training for a full ironman race next year. But I also only have 5 months left till the track closes.

sell blood plasma
there are a ton of x275 cars down in your area. those guys use their tires like 6-8 passes then sell them for pennies on the dollar. see if you can't get in touch with someone like Troy Pirez Jr or the like...he probably has stacks of lightly used tires layin' around his shop

Along with good tires, you also need a good prepped track. If the track doesn't have any prep, sticky tires still have a hard time hooking up.
Just because tires still have tread/rubber on them doesn't mean they're any good. Street tire rubber gets very hard after driving around. Slicks dry out after a couple of years. A good set of tires is required for good traction but the tires don't last forever even if they're not used.

Speedworld maybe closing but you'll still have the 1/8 mile @ Central FL & BMP isn't too big of a drive.
Finding traction at Speedworld other than immediately before or after the WSN is similar to finding a needle in a hay-stack. - When I was in college we ran out there almost every weekend, more often than not you could hook better @ the late Sat night "activities" in town.

you shouldn't have much of an issue with getting it to hook on some 275/60/15's
