Thoughts on new 1/4 times

I ran a 12.8 best in my 91Z28. Mods are a supercharger pushing 8.5lbs of boost, 1.6 roller rockers, slp runners and edlebrock tes headers with a flowmaster cat back. The car is stock. My current build up is a balanced and bluprinted engine with forged pistons and crank, custom cam @.50 210\220 on 112 LSA, AFR 190 heads, slp runners, 1.6 roller rockers, 24lb injectors, tes headers and flowmaster exhaust, supercharger (which i am guessing will be pushing out only 6lbs of boost with the afr heads) and a super fmu. Just wondering if anyone has a similar combo and what times i should expect to be running?

i'm by no means an expert but i would think with your combo you should be running low 13s without the supercharger and i feel that with the supercharger you should be running at least mid if not low 12's
maybe you just have a litle bit more tweaking to do and you'll be there.

You said balanced and blueprinted but you left out all the bluprint info

like compression, which is very important

I'd say if this is a "race" build and streetability wasn't considered you could dip to 11's

you need to give a MPH with your time. Time is not an indication of the power your making. For instance, on NOS I ran a 12.6 but it was at 117 MPH. Anyone who knows anything will tell you that MPH will support an 11 second ET. So if you want an accurate estimated increase, it will be in the MPH department as it isnt the engines job to put the power to the ground.

OUCH!!!!
right there is your problem. you must be lighting the tires up really bad. with the kind of power you are supporting to run 108 mph i would say that your 60' should be in the 1.70-1.65 range at least. that woudl realistically put the car as beign capable of around 12.2 or 12.3 with the same mph, which sounds more like it for your combo.
i don't know what you have for suspension and tires, but it is definately tiem to start looking into something.
still nice number for a street car though

later

Sir's track sucks! They are rebuilding it over teh next few years. My friend who has a lightning ran a 2.00 60 ft time with drag ta's The track is really slick. I am also putting on a set of spohn subframes as well as the LCA and relocation brackets.
