Would this put me in the mid/high 14's?

Okay for the money I am gonna get for my birthday and Christmas, I wanna buy headers, exhaust(not sure which kind yet, whatever has the best quality for the money) an intake and some kind of bigger cam, but not too radical. I dont have the time or money for a 350 swap, because I am gonna be going to college in January. So do you think the above mods would put me into the high/mid 14's?

14's are a breeze really.
1.your first big mod should be a posi and some 3.73 or 4.10 gears(4.10's will make for a bigger gain but the 3.73's may be a litttle more livable on the street). a torson take out posi is only $99 from slp and the gears will run you about 175 + install of 200-300
2.an open element air cleaner, something 14x3 with a flat base is perfect, don't worry about the k&n filter, for the price it isn't really worth any power.
3.go to the tech articles and look up the ultimate tbi parts 1&2 and teh ALDL convertor lock up switch. these are really cheap mods and will give you a noticable improvement
4.an edebrock performer tbi or holley street dominator tbi can be found used for around 125 or new for around 200, either one will do the job nicely.
5.a used LT1 cam is a great buy. they are hydraulic roller cams like our stockers so they don't really where out and you can use your stock lifters. look to spend 20-50 for it.
6.a full exhaust with headers and a 3inch y-pipe, a high flow 3inch cat, and a 3inch cat back will help get that used gas out of the car efficiently

the rest of what you need will be suspension related. remeber you need hook more than power to run a good et.
check out the tbi board for more tips on how to go fast.

hope this helps

Cool man thanks. I dunno about 4.10 gears though. I still wanna drive it on the street quite a bit, and wont that kill my gas mileage and cruising speed? I was thinking of maybe a rear disc 3.23 or 3.42 posi out of an IROC or Z28. Thanks for the advice though. Dont you gotta have an adapter plate if you plan on running a 4 bbl intake?

you will need an adaptor with a 4b intake. edelbrock and holley both make intakes for tbi though, no adaptors needed.
i run 4.09 gears(i have a dana44 rear)and it isn't bad at all. i must admit i do get crappy around town m,ileage though, but i think that has mnore to do with the hoel shots away from the lights
