Where was everyone for the NFRA race??

There was a very low turnout for Thirdgen/TPI cars at the NFRA event.

I won TPI Power Adder because I was the only entry.

More of you guys should show up next year! I had a blast!

I was there spectating. We were supposed to have a 98 T/A there with a MTI 422cid LS1, but the bottom of the cylinder sleeves started to leak coolant so it had to be sent back for repairs . Was looking for 10's, last time out was a 11.13 @ 125mph N/A, but guess it'll happen at HRP this fall.
I need to get another 3rd gen soon, maybe I'll have something ready next year...

Your car had the Superram intake I think on a 406? I remember looking at it some when they were teching it in.
Every thirdgen that was there was impressive to see run.

I was the only one there wearing a SDPC200.com tshirt and a Black Z06 cap that I got at the Corvette Museum.

When are you going to have a class that my car fits in? ie a carbed, big block, n/a.

Currently installing 3.73's into my 9 bolt (YES, it is a 9 bolt & YES they are 3.73's, not 3.70. I currently have 4.10 gear sets and new series 3 carriers in stock for 9 bolts )

Im pushing for carbs too.

I wish they had them this year. There seems to be a growing push for them so maybe the organizers will see it and include them if they have the race again next year.

I dont have any say in it. Im just another racer.

I must be thinking of one of the other ones I saw, I remember seeing yours though. I think carb'd f-body's would be a great additional class, but I have no say either...

My car is in the garage with no heads and intake. I wanted to make it, but time ran out on me.

Good to meet you Guido. Your car runs good.

It just didn't seem to be the right weekend, or something. My one friend with a 91Z with 383 and miniram is out of town, my other friend with 350 and miniram is out of town, and my car is up on jackstands.

Just wasn't a good time, I guess. I hope to make it next year.

yea, most of the fast guys (with the exception of people like you guido) are running carb's on their thirdgens. There wasn't much point for me to go. I complained from the beginning about there not being a carb class, but they didn't seem to care.
