YEAH!!! Just got back from the track.....new times :)
I ran my T/A tonight. I got it down to a 16.11@84 mph. How does this sound for a bone stock LG4 with 3.73's? I know its still a dog, but for what it is, it surprised the hell out of me. My best 60 foot time was 2.17. Do you guys have any ideas on how to break this "beast" into the 15's? Thanks guys.

Air cleaner - either open element or dual-snorkel.
Timing - advance it to 6 degrees and see how it does. You might even be able to go up to 10.
Exhaust - stock stuff is like you running a marathon breathing through a straw. Get headers, 3" y-pipe, 3" cat, 3" cat-back.
FWIW, I'm running 16.8's @ 81 mph with stock LG4 with just the air cleaner and timing but at 5800'. That translates to 15.6's @ 87 mph at sea level. My 60 fts are much worse than yours, but I don't have gears. '86 LG4's had 9.6:1 compression vs. your 8.5:1, so that does help me.
Got to get the "work-in-progress" done...
