Best Tire Pressure????
I have a '92 Camaro with radials. the tire are Goodyear GTII'd 235/55R16. What is the best tire pressure front/back for the drag strip?

Car: 87 IROC L98
Engine: 588 Alcohol BBC
Transmission: Powerglide
Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
Radials don't like low tire pressure. By lowering the tire pressure, the stiff sidewalls will cause the center of the tread to rise up causing less traction.
You can pump up the fronts to around 35 psi to decrease the rolling resistance.
Keep the rears between 30 and 35 psi.

Racing at 3500 feet elevation but most race days it's over 5000 feet density altitude!
