I just got ripped by a VR6!!!!!
I raced a VW Golf today on the way home from school. Stoplight to stoplight. Forget about off the line on street tires! We were wheeling through first and second gear. I have an automatic and he had a 5 spd. He ripped me as soon as he got into 3rd gear. Pulled away from me by about a full car length. Damn my **** felt slow after that. Mind you I have a lot of work done to the car. He must have work too because he had an older VW Golf with a VR6. I found out that he has a newer motor in that car because he is a friend of a friend. Props to that guy.

He must of had ALOT of work done. Oh well, goes to show you , you can make anything fast.
Theres a guy around here with a modded new VR6. We were just about even when I was stock. We street raced all the time. I found him on the road the other day and he wouldn't wait up for me to race. He kept going as fast as he could.
I think he knows
I played a little with a vette LT1 last night also. To bad we were in traffic

My friend got smoked by a golf in his Grand National. All i know about the golf was that it was turbo charged and had nitrous. Since then my friend friend ugraded his turbo and got a bigger intercooler, so hes probably lookin for that golf.

A friend of mine has a newer VR6, he ran a very low 15 @ 94 MPH in the quarter, with just intake and exhaust mods.
