i have driven both and would suggest the nitto's. they are both capable of hooking really hard, the nitto's need a little bigger burnout to get them ripe. the nitto's have better tread life though, so all else being equal i would get them. both brands even have ads with cars in the 9's on their 275/50 15 sizes too.

a friend of mine has a 99 TA and he had Nittos on the back. he just new rims and tires so he has Kuhmos right now but he said the BFGs are better but dont last long at all 5-7k mi where as the Nittos are very good and last 20k mi so he goes with the Nittos since he drives with them on the back daily not just at the track. and i believe the Nittos are cheaper too. so i would go with Nittos.
