First time to track, how to improve ET's.... and a question...

Ok I had 4 runs...

The best of 14.5 @97.

RUN #1: WIN vs 86 305 TPI Z-28 (16.0)
Reaction: 1.098
60ft: 2.442
330ft: 6.582
1/8 ET: 9.820
1/8 MPH: 76.17
1/4 ET: 15.013
1/4 MPH: 84.47

RUN #2: LOSE vs 93-97 Z28 (14.01)
Reaction: .838
60ft: 2.592
330ft: 6.587
1/8 ET: 9.807
1/8 MPH: 76.50
1/4 ET: 14.964
1/4 MPH: 84.90

RUN #3: WIN vs S/C Foxbody 5.0 (red lighted)
Reaction: .766
60ft: 2.404
330ft: 6.317
1/8 ET: 9.525
1/8 MPH: 76.63
1/4 ET: 14.619
1/4 MPH: 96.92

RUN #4: LOSE (best run) vs 93-97 WS6 (13.6)
Reaction: .760
60ft: 2.439
330ft: 6.276
1/8 ET: 9.449
1/8 MPH: 77.32
1/4 ET: 14.503
1/4 MPH: 97.26

Now I know my 60 ft's could stand improvement. But the track is known to be quite slick, next time I'm going to borrow some slicks.

Now for a couple questions:

A: If I can get my 60ft's down to a 2.0, think I could hit a 14 flat? Think a 13.99 is possible?

B: Why was it that if my 60 ft's remind constant was my car getting faster as the day went on? Was it that I was pinning past the 60ft and hooking up after it, and on each run hooking up closer to the 60ft?

Any feedback?

A. for every .1 sec reduction 60ft that equals approx .2 sec at the top end. Get that 60 ft to 2.0 and youll run deep into the 13's.

B my guess was the air got cooler and you relaxed.

Ive run 2.0's 60ft on 245/50/16's from Pep Boys and I will Guarantee im making more torq than you. so practise, practise, practise.

GREAT runs though, keep at it.
