Speaking of weight removal, has anyone seen these? (Stud Sleeves)
Just wondering if anyone else has been exposed to these - I have seen them for years at my local track and are sourced from a local racer that really does not seem to advertise at all.. They make wheel removal/install on any shank lug car much faster, easier and weigh nothing hardly.. The entire bag of 10 I bought from a friend who knows the seller will not even register on home scale which updates by .5.. I weighed 214.5 with and without the bag after several tries. I would assume it weight around .5 or less by my hand scale.. I also would assume the 1.25 steel shank lugs weigh over 2 lbs per 10..
Here is a pic of them.. Not trying to promote for anyone, actually hear that the guy who sold them died on Christmas so unsure if they will even still be sold but enjoy..
But they are effective weight removal and much earier for fast wheel removal, the lugs are locking BTW. Not sure if SFI rating is needed, but like I said they have been on 50% of my local tracks race cars.. I will try to weigh some actual shank lugs and update when I get un lazy.

Aluminum nuts aren't legal for competition use. To easy to unknowingly crack and/or strip.
Ti is nice, but for a quality high strength grade it will cost you some serious coin.

We have a local shop that did mine for $180. That's installing the studs, drilling my rotors and includes the nuts and spacers.

I should specify, most aluminum nuts aren't legal. Some of the billet ones have approval, but must be "handled with care" to not shorten their life. - Basically just hand tighten with torque wrench, no impact guns.
