Re: 15x10 w/6.5 BS

Let me know how that datalogging goes, I might sell off my UEGO and run that. Actually if the datalog software uses the 0-5v reference signal off the gauge I'd be interested in trying out the software included with that to see how I like it. Mine has the datalogging wire but this company didn't offer any software to hook up to tach and the reference wire to record. I'm curious about it.

Will keep everyone updated on it, it kind of sounds too good for 200$, so i hope it is what it says.

Re: 15x10 w/6.5 BS

I had 325/50/15's on mine with 15x10 on a 6.5 BS. The yellow areas either should be dealt with, or I slightly massaged there. The red areas needed a good beating. This being the passenger side. The driver side doesn't require any beating on the rear of the wheel well. As you see it here is how I ran it.Name: Tires08.jpg

Awesome man, that is exactly hat i needed, i should have my 325/50s tomorrow. I am anxious to see how it hooks, especially if the LCARBs help.

Re: 15x10 w/6.5 BS

LCARBs won't help tire/wheel clearance. Offset LCAs can/will though.

Re: 15x10 w/6.5 BS

no but the LCARB will stop his rear from squatting and instead cause him to get better traction. But then again I hook coming out of a car wash So he needs to work on it some.

Re: 15x10 w/6.5 BS

Yea, for real, all you automatic guys talking down on my lowly 6 speed, shame on you, LOL.

LCARBs came in today with the wide band, I was going to ask if i should weld them in, but judging by fast82z's pics, he did, so i guess it will not hurt. Pity they have such a nice back powder coating on them too.

Re: 15x10 w/6.5 BS

Years ago I had welded mine in with a 110volt welder, this past season with the transbrake I figured I might as well grind the welds down and hit it with the 220volt one I have now, and definitely got much better penetration out of it this time around. Perhaps a local frame shop could buzz them in with a big mig/tig if you don't have one.

Re: 15x10 w/6.5 BS

Hmmmm, i have a friend with a 220 i can use, so i can just bolt them in and drive over there and use his, my 110 dies get pretty good depth for what it is on the highest setting, but i want a 220 pretty bad.

Re: 15x10 w/6.5 BS

i'd bolt them on at his house, i wouldn't drive on them until they're welded up. Just prep the metal on the housing and make sure the LCA bolts break loose and then install at his place

So, you cannot just bolt them in if you wished? These damn things didnt even come with instructions, i have seen them before so i know how they mount, they are the Ebay pieces, 55$ or something like that.

Re: 15x10 w/6.5 BS

If they're designed as bolt-in then you should be ok to do that, but I definitely wouldn't beat on them till they're welded.

Re: 15x10 w/6.5 BS

The only bolt-in, no weld ones I know of....Have a mount that reach the shock mounts. Without the shock mount tab, a LCARB won't stay in place & I certainly wouldn't want to try to drive like that anywhere.

I'd love to see pictures of your setup. I just picked up the same wheel combo and I am looking for tires now.

Re: 15x10 w/6.5 BS

Yea, pics if possible, i think the 6.5 BS was a good thing for me, just need to get the tires so i can mock up and get the work dont to the wheel wells.

LCARBs are on, seems to hook a touch better, or like it is trying, on the street, like it is attempting to plant the tires rather than spinning and let the tires try to grab.

O2 wide band setup is working well, i am pretty close to where i wanted to be at idle and WOT.

Re: 15x10 w/6.5 BS

so zones what's the word on that wideband software? does it use the 0-5volt output wire? have a cable for rpm as well or no? I might be interested in getting e-mailed a copy of that software if you don't mind to try out.

Re: 15x10 w/6.5 BS

I am fixing to go to work right now, but later i will try to remember to put the info on the output wires for you, i am not 100% on what all it is capable of, it has a output and input wire set, i dont know what the input is for, but the output reads onto my lap top. The there is a yellow and brown wire i had to close off since i was not using them.

Re: 15x10 w/6.5 BS

Found out these bastards still hit my calipers and i had to grind and use two of the mentioned spacers to make it clear, later i will do some more grinding so i can eliminate the use of the spacers, but they give me an idea of how much i need to remove from the calipers.
