Stock rear end and suspension 12 57 pass
86 iroc z with 350 hydraulic extreme energy comp cam .520 lift cam and brodix 200cc aluminum heads..about 10 and a half compression with forged srp pistons and a tunnel ram. If I put a better intake to match my rpm range it would run better but it's what I had to work with. I have gotten a 1.78 60 foot so far but have only raced it a few times(room for improvement)

Nice. I feel like you should have made a faster pass than that with your setup and 60' time. Do you have dyno numbers? If so what are they?
Im going with a similar setup except 200cc WP heads ,forged pistons and rods, as well as my vic. jr intake mani. I should be around 10.5:1 as well but carbed. I was hoping to run somewhere in the low 12's-high 11's.

Re: Stock rear end and suspension 12 57 pass
Yeah I'm having carburetor problems yet and it likes to stumble off the line. The tunnel ram gives me no low end but I'm thinking once I get like an rpm intake it should run 20s or 30s with my 373s. I managed to get it down to 2180 taking out any unnecessary brackets and a/c and about a miles worth of wiring. Anything that could be taken out in the engine bay it is gone other than that the car is still loaded down.. I also didn't put dual headers or header dumps and that could probably give me a tenth. If I really worked at it I could probably get a 12 second out of it but this is only my street car And only a few cars in my town could touch me. Those dang lsx motors get me though if they are built

And I haven't dynoed it but my engine builder did a computerized dyno graph based on everything in my motor and it was like 480 hp at the flex plate give or take

I am aiming towards 425-450 at the crank with my setup, so that rating sounds spot on with your setup. With that number you should be in the low 12's no problem.

Yeah hopefully..I'd rather start out a little slower and work at it to make it faster. Gives me a challenge
