Drop Spindle?
See I have been searching for well about 5 years for drop spindles (off and on). I bought the moroso front drag springs and needless to say those things never really settled. So it looks like a 4 x 4. In the front and with the rear being adjustable I want it to have a stock ride height in the front without cutting the spring to help aid the weight transfer. Racevraft makes a 2 inch drop kit for $595. Anyone know anybody making anything cheaper (perferably without a dropped steering arm).

Having the front too low is bad for drag racing with a stock style chassis. Too low won't allow for good weight transfer. When you see those ultra low, fast cars at the track, they're tube chassis cars. The chassis and suspension is still at normal heights but the body is set lower over the chassis more for aerodynamics than chassis function. The old 60's gasser cars had the front end sitting up high for a reason even without the leaf spring front suspension.
If you don't want to cut the coils, buy a coil over conversion kit for the front struts and adjust the ride height with the coil overs.
The ride height of springs depends on the spring rate. Coil springs will compress a specific distance depending on how much weight is on them. If your front end is sitting too high then the springs you use have too high of a spring rate or the front of the car is too light to compress the springs far enough.

Yeah I have had the wheels up a few time. My main concern was losing anything on my launch. I have to admit I had to install them at darn near coil bind to get the puppies to fit.

Extension is never an issue. With my suspension limiters backed right off, and the suspension is at full extension, there's still a lot of spring pressure. I'd be more concerned with the compression. When my front end comes back down, I want enough suspension travel to absorb the landing so that the chassis doesn't crash into the pavement. So far all my landings have been very soft. The car bounces once or twice before the 330 cones. Stiffening the shock extension can reduce that.
