RSX 2006 vs 1992 3.1 firebird

ok so i have a 92 3.1l firebird 700r4 which i take to the road course alot
new front and rear sway bar 22mm
formula 16in rims
B&M shrift kit stage 1
soften the sub KYB shocks and struts

the rsx 2006 type-s vtec 2.0 5 speed
lower 2 inch
front and rear swat bar
short shifter
vtec controller
header back exhaust

I know he would rape me on a straight away

so i raced him in an S-turn smoked him i shift to 3rd and took the outside in and inside out going between 85-62mph i don't use the brake i just have the trans slow me down in the turn

so he put all this stuff on not he thinks he can take me.

see what he does is guns it to the turn locks up the rear brake and takes the inside and the back-end was just all over the place.

now he add all this stuff idk if i can win . we are racing tomorrow night he said he been practicing. just asking what you guys think

Street racing with turns? Is that what a road course is to you? Where are you legally racing wheel to wheel?

Nevermind it's not even worth the time...

well idk what race course is open at 3am
it's mid-winter so when you find a track open tell me
a road course is what i go to in the summer/spring seasons at Englishtown raceway park or Island raceway in NJ.
we raced at the track when he first got his car before the mods

and if its not worth your time then SHUT UP and let someone who can answer the simple question present. don't be a smart A$$ just to look cool on the internet

you're friggen racing on the street. with cold weather and cold concrete. i'm not going to be surprised when either one of you lose control and crash.

DO you have A.D.D or something let focus on the question at hand. if i wanted mom and pop answer or comments i would have asked if it was safe or right or even asked my own parents. i understand what can happen crash accident buhbuh whatever.

so here's the question again

will a RSX 2006 type s out maneuver a 1992 3.1 firebird with all the mods listed above.

and lets just say its a 90 degree day with road temps at 100+ and a newly paved road track.

thank you

know in about 3-4 week the local road track it opening if i was to put my slicks on, drop the car 2 inches would i be able to get him is the turns ?

because i know his car will rape me in the straights if I'm not ahead of him
and is it good to have a mid-soft suspension or a mid hard one. and here's the track lay out

Re: RSX 2006 vs 1992 3.1 firebird

well, i own a healthy 92 3.1 bird, and i used to have a 02 rsx, 160 horse.

the rsx was a bit loose in the rear sometimes, and had bad torque steer in 1 and 2. Aside from that, im pretty sure it would smoke my 92 any day of the week in a straight line. The rsx was stock. It handles pretty well, but if you pushed it, you would loose the back end. Almost wrecked it once because of that.

if his car is an s type, it would have a 6 speed. if its a 5 speed, its not a s type, unless that changed and i dont know about it.
