Are you talking about FastLS1, or someone else?

Re: who was that transmission specialties employee on here?

thinking of your 4100-4500 10" xhd stall for my ls1 setup. Wondering how much more it would stall under a 150 shot and how the launch efficiency of this versus an 8" converter would be. Do you recommend this converter for power around that area? What's the best price on this one as well?

Well the best thing to do would be to post the whole combination. Or you can PM me if your not comfortable doing that.

That converter you mentioned is actually a nice piece for the money. If you were gonna run the car all motor I would reccomend it. I Would like to hear what your cam profile looks like though.

If you have all intentions of spraying a 150+ shot I would go a different route. If thats your budget I would shoot for a LS(3200) or maybe even a
MS(3500-3700) Max! I have seen people spray those HS and XHS 10 inchers and the results were no gains on the NOS. To much slip.

Other options would be the 900XHD converters which are much more efficient going down the track. The core has great lock up capabilitys which make it great for nitrous or big torque applications. I would run 3500-3600 stall that will open up to 4200-4300 on (150 pills)(all depending on your specs of course) I actually have a group customers who run LSX based cars with T-400's and a lot of NOS. I use these converters because they are very streetable and handle a ton of power. My recent one just went 9.35 on the bumper getting in and out of it to the 1000 ft. (400+ cu in LSX with fogger.)
I also put one into a 900Hp Grand National with Twin Turbo's.

The best thing about the 8 inch converter is that the effiency is the best of all. The small diameter core = more horsepower at the wheels. You can also spin the RPM's a little looser with minimal slippage on the top end. There's no end to the quality on the race converters because there built to go right to the track.

10 inch XHD street/strips are heli brazed, rollerized, computer balanced, and have an internal cover ballooning plate and large external impellar pump ballooning plate.
10% 0ff
$391.50

9 inch XHD street/strips are furnaced brazed, rolerized, and have all the rest. They use a very good Mechanical Diode sprag which lasts a lot longer under heavy power. Reccomended over Element or dura sprags.
$675

8 inch race have all the best including the M.D sprag.
$832.50

8 inch spragless - race only!
$764.10

I know thats a lot of info but if you have any questions I can be more specific
