budget drag car
just bought an 87 iroc with 15" weld wheels and slicks. i am tossing in an internally stock sbc350. i am gonna throw a 750cfm edelbrock carb and performer rpm intake manifold onto it as well as hooker long tubes through a true dual exhaust. i know it's a newb question to ask but..............what should i expect in the 1/4 mile as far as times go? i'm gonna take it slow because i have never drag raced before....so practice, practice, practice obviously. any guestimates?

"...internally stock sbc350" - that's practically meaningless. It could be a 145 HP boat anchor, or something that actually runs. Since the vast majority of 350's out there came out of trucks, "internally stock" is more likely to equal 15's than 13's.
Personally, I'm no fan of Edelbrock carbs. Get a Holley. Unless you want practice fender racing because you don't have a clue if the car will run the faster number it just ran, or the slower number it usually runs.
