I looks like a heads up race or very close to it and both of you were asleep at the tree.

why use the tree when he's getting spotted out and given the "hit" to make up for the other guy having a better setup. no different than if they wanted to yawn bracket race, the tree comes down at a different time.

very nice run - i did not expect that front end to come off the ground - you are lucky you had the break or he would have taken you,
how much do you think you could improve your run if you kept the front down and not wasted horse power lifting your front instead of moving your butt forward?

Re: The Vid I Should Have Posted
BUT I BET YOU WILL! using that power to move you forward will get you an extra second or two. you lift at second 46 and at 48 you are down. that is two seconds that you are losing torque moving forward instead its holding your front end up. in a race that only lasts a max of 10 seconds according from your timer on the tape - that means for 20% of the race you were not under full power.
so lets see you run again and keep that front end down. looks like you got tons of torque - just fine tune the gearing to get is all moving forward.
but it is a darn fine machine you got and takes a heck of a wheel man to keep it on the tract in the best of circumstances and running 2 seconds with no steering and the front end blocking your view - damn fine driver you are.
