how much hp&torque can i expect to gain from an upgraded hi flow cam??? and what would be a god brand to buy that isnt real expensive for my 90 formula 350?

Re: Camshaft
However there is much more to be gained in other areas.. Like swapping intakes would be one of the biggest gains. Go cheap, pick up a used LT1 if you can cheap, convert to fit like many have done and enjoy another 1000 usable rpm with little tq loss at lower rpms.. But to answer your question it depends what you want and what you have.. If nearly stock and want to retain stock valve springs, you could get a LT4 hotcam cheap, will have great drivability. Put that cam with the converted intake you have a cheap
probably 40hp gain over current peak.

Re: Camshaft
as of right now im completely stock i want to retain my stock valve springs and in a month or2 i should have a short ram air intake, magnaflow exhaust system, and some dyno-max shorty headers so i need a cam thats goin to work good with these mods...
