Some pics of the Vega washed up, ready to go.

Got mostly everything done I think, today was first day moving under own power, tested transbrake in front of house real quick relocated shifter, trans x member, shortened steering shaft.. previous owner was like 5'5".. Gained about 2" of room on steering wheel forward, shifter as well and pedals, still cramped though. Should be about ready for opening day apr 4th.. Gonna wire the spray back up on the T/A tonight I think to have it ready for when-ever.

Don't see too many BBC Vega's and Monza's any more.

I would have liked to take mine outside today but we got 6-8" of snow last night

man, thats one ride I think Id have serious jetters before driving..I know what a stout 496 feels like in a 3500# car WITH a decent wheel base....you driving it or the old man?

And hey, those old ladies were right it`s a really nice vega, bigblock + parachute is probably doing it for me though!!

lol, I drive.. Had pops in the Camaro with the smallblock and blower years ago, after 60ft he let out and said never again. lol.
Well I have some jitters, just because its a pita to drive, very cramped, have to hold transbrake button in for reverse, the button is on the steering wheel + slow ratio box makes turning and backing up very hard. Also delay box had to be reset everytime button was released, so when I would turn wheel and let go of button, I lose reverse till I reset box... However I learned how to disable the reset thing, must be a safety feature..
It feels pretty violent in front of the house, should see apr 4th weather pending..
Here is how small it is, my trailer I only get about 1/2 the skinnies on the platforms, my center is open. Have to weld some angle on inside of platform to extend it inward to give me extra room.. The day i picked it up, we did not think it was even going to make it on at all due to being so narrow.. Supposed to be very straight tracking car despite the wheelbase.

Ah...nothing like a big motor and a little car. Looks ready to go back into the late 70's and run Pro Stock. Really is a good looking car though.

Thank you,
Eagerly awaiting apr 4th. I am sure something will be wrong as is every year in the begining, but so far so good.
