Been a long time, pumpgas pb today

Went out to e-town with my GTA today, first time scince the Pinks Last Chance race in May of 2008. Pretty much dusted her off, changed the oil, and went racing.

Ran on straight Shell 93 octane with no additives/not spraying anything. 18 psi boost with easy launch on the first pass and more agressive launches on the rest.

1st pass - 1.705 60ft, 7.238 @ 96.12mph 1/8th, 11.325 @ 120.08mph
2nd pass - 1.509 60ft, 6.989 @ 96.64mph 1/8th, 11.068 @ 120.17mph
3rd pass - 1.541 60ft, 7.040 @ 96.31mph 1/8th, 11.131 @ 119.85mph
4th pass - 1.651 60ft, 7.165 @ 96.37mph 1/8th, 11.249 @ 120.16mph

I've only been out once in the last two years but got back in the groove by the third pass with a .014 light. 4th pass was first round, I was dialed 11.14 but messed up the burnout and spun at the line. I knew I had lost right there but it was still close, other guy had an .071 light to my .083 and went 11.37 on an 11.30 dial. MOV was 0.0494

But I was very happy to see an 11.0 on straight pumpgas street trim with a very safe fat tune. Also the 6.98 second 1/8th gave me hopes of trying for a 10.99 with a little more agressive tune but I decided to dial it down in the hopes for consistency.

Snapped a pic at the Wawa parking lot on the way home - all in all a good day

Next week is the GM EFI shootout at etown, hope to see some of you north east guys out there

Thanks guys, yeah the stock wheels and overall stockish look (esp with the windows up so you cant see the interior) coupled with a rather quiet engine have cought many by surprise

Deffinetly nice ride man.. Nice work...
Still a huge fan of the 3.8's myself, always wanted one..
Actually always wanted to do one in an early Camaro.
