Well got the 498 in the Vega yesterday, fired today - just have to fab a trans mount from 400 to 350, and change yoke on d/s and she is almost ready to roll.. Also got TA fired up today off new exteranal fuel pump and sump in tank - then filled garage with gas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shortly after firing car see gas spewing from under, shut car down, get under in a hurry to stop flow - the stock pick-up had somehow started to siphon itself, it has the quick disconect fitting, so I could not stop flow with finger due to clip holes on sides, had to hurry and get gas can, completely drained tank!! I left feed in place without pump on so I could use as a seperate nos feed if wanted, or If I needed a bigger return I would use that.. Well had to plug her, soaked self in gas and entire floor.. And in the other bay, trying to prime bbc in vega, could not find primer for life of me, had to ruin a ESC distributor I had to make primer, start priming - ohh ****!!!!!!!!!!! No filter on.... Yeah that was quite a mess to.. And better yet, find primer just after.. Seeing the effects of 9hrs sleep in 3 days.

You left the filter off on purpose right? You wanted to make sure it had oil pressure.
