What you think I will run?

I have an 84 Z28 with frame connectors, the rest of the suspension is all stock. I run a T5 with 4:10 gears and a limited slip. I have some 265 drag radials not sure exactly on the size, only put them on one time. The car ways about 3100 pounds. The engine is a 350 bored sixty over with a forged steel gm crank, LT1 powder forged rods, flat tops with two valve reliefs, all internally balanced, a comp cams matched valve train, cam is 540 558 in lift and 292 298 duration with 110 lobe separation. The heads are ported alluminum corvette tuned port heads with 1.6 exhaust valves and 58cc chambers makin it have 11:1 comp. ratio. A hurricane intake from professional products with a 750 holley, double pumper with mechanical secondaries. MSD digital 6 box, shorty headers with dual exhaust and straight through mufflers. What will it run if it hooks and doesn't break something?

My combo is milder and my vehicle heavier (3650 w/driver) and I run high 12's @ 107. It dosen't hook with old drag radials and I busted a 9 bolt on my first 12 sec. pass.
You should easily be mid 12's on the weight break alone.
Like you said though...if it hooks and doesn't break something.

Re: What you think I will run?

Yea still running the stock ten bolt. The engine makes 496hp at 6800 and 468 ft/lbs at 4600 if that helps anybody on deciding

Re: What you think I will run?

If it hooks and doesn't break it should run in the 12's. If you can really drive that stick you can probably sqeak off an 11 something with more suspension, but between the T5 and the 10-bolt I don't know if either will hold out that long.

he'll have to shift clutchless to squeak an 11, probably still need a little suspension work. - 496hp is nothing to sneeze at.
