Last race of the year
Finally got to take my car out and run it wide open instead of the usual 7.0 index racing. We have a charity race every year to benefit the T.C. Thompson childrens hospital and toys for kids in the area. 51 was the projected high for the day, but felt colder. went a new best 6.47 2nd round but only got my 6.48 first round pass on video before the camera died. Track was actually good to be 25 degrees that morning at 9am.

Good times 1bad406. I was there too I was pitted right behind you in my black firebird. I had a knock sensor problem and the car wasnt running for nothing. Still ended up second in quick street.

Re: Last race of the year
was it the turbo one? I think i've seen you out there quite a few times if its the turbo car. I got down to 4 cars in the N/A street heat class. Almost won on a holeshot my .411 to his .592 but he caught me at the traps with his 6.21 to my 6.48

come on up next year nova, it's alot of fun. Your car would fit in True Street if you had some hard radial tires, or quick street with some Drag radials.

[QUOTE=1bad406;3958499]I've seen you run several times, I'm out there almost every Friday night cause my wife works out there. Sharp car, I enjoy watching the turbo cars. Did you see my buddy's blue turbo coupe get all out of shape on the first run of Street King?
When not to peddle a car
I sure did I was certain bad things were going to happen. I couldn't believe it didn't roll sliding sideways like that.
