Re: Post pics of third gen Race cars.
Niiice. Not the turbos, just the framework. Wish I could easily fabricate something like that. Maybe I'll consider doing something like that for next winter's projects. Sure would remove a lot of front end weight.
I still have a manual steering box attached to the frame. Going to a rack means a complete refabrication of the steering shaft to go under the headers. There's no room to go over to a rack under them.

LOL, it may be my name you recognized, I've had 4 articles written over the last 2-3 in FSC about a few of my other cars, but this is the first (of many ;-) ) about the Camaro..

Re: Post pics of third gen Race cars.
Thats on the way down it was carrying it about a foot off the ground for 50 feet or so. We fixed that with 1400 lbs springs front and 450s in the rear. Springs in the pic are 1100s and 275s. the 35mm solid sway bar up front tends to overpower the front spring and lift the inside tire

Re: Post pics of third gen Race cars.
http://www.youtube.com/user/RadRidesByTroy that the 87 camaro in there has 1800 hp I believe. You can find the progress pictures in their projects, just looks like a bad *** camaro that they just finish not so long ago.

Three-wheel action (but the wrong wheel):
Check out http://www.flickr.com/photos/steguis/5802760363/sizes/o/in/set-72157626771051759/, and you can see the right-rear wheel just barely in the air.

Re: Post pics of third gen Race cars.
It's my car. In that pic, it had 16X10 REAL wheels and 275 Hoosiers in front and 17X11 CCWs with 315 Hoosiers in back. Not an optimal setup ... long story how it ended up that way. It's better with 17X11s and 315s on all four corners.
