89 v6 rs takes out 4thgen ls1 transam at the track
the first righteous kill for the v6 car
was a 13.8-13.9 104.xx vs 97.xx
we had the car set on 7 psi with a t3/t4 hybrid
everything in the sig is correct about the car except the turbo size i ended up hurting the large turbo during testing a few weeks back
theres still alot left in the car at the same boost level it came out of the hole at 3 psi and cut a 1.9 60ft on street tires but bogged 2 times coming out of the hole.
other then that it came up threw second but kinda nosed over going into 3rd which u will be able to see when i get the scanned timeslip sent to me so i can post it
i belive i know what the bog and nosing over issue is, i had recently swaped out to a much larger injector and had only changed the injector size in the megasquirt.
was hoping these injectors would be as linier in flow as the old ones but they arent so the bog and nosing over was due to a few lean spots in the ve table
car wieghed in at 3350 with driver on this pass
we attempted 2 more runs last night after fixing the ve maps, one at 15 psi and one at 12 psi but the couplers on the intake tubing kept blowing apart in the burnout box.
10 psi seems to be the safe limit on the single ply silicone couplers and worm drive clamps
so some t-bolt clamps and better couplers are on the way and well be looking to pull out some high high 12's on 7 psi witht he slicks on the car
stay tuned for time slips and possibly video

good pass, you got him to the 1/8, but he went quicker on the backside.
(kinda crappy mph for the LS1 car, musta been a stock auto?)

i dont know the extent of mods, but it deff had an ex on it,and deff an auto car.The car would have pulled him all the way down the track, but the car nosed over bad right after the 1/8th nice big lean spot in the ve table. im slowly getting there.
once i get the fuel table fixed im going to throw another 6* ign timing at it car only had 12* total in it so its deff hurting the power, but its a safe way to get the fuel dialed in
