Re: New best!
Congrats now what did you do to get that number that was different from the rest? My old 305 ran a best of 15.21 @ 90 mph so you might be able to improve your time a bit more.

Re: New best!
When I bought my car it had a poorly built 383 stroker in it and first pass only got a 15.0. It couldn't breath so I went to an open carb system and managed a low 14 by the end of the season. Over the winter I yanked off the smog heads and installed some tricked out camel back heads, took out the 700R4 and installed a TH350 with a 3800 stall converter. The engine already had a good intake and camshaft but was having problems with the rest of the stuff. First pass after the winter changes and the car ran 12.0. Everyone kept asking me where I hid the NOS bottle.
Amazing what better heads, tranny and stall speed can do but I blew up the engine right at the end of the second season.
