Re: What would this stang run?

mid to low 13's should be easy. drag tires and some rear suspension help for more traction could get ya 12's.

Re: What would this stang run?

I'll go out on a limb and say anywhere between 12.9-13.4 @ 101 - 105 MPH. How light is the car? Does it hook? Etc...

Just an example, a good friend of mine has a 95' GT. It's a stripper car w/ crank windows, etc. It weighs in at 3240 w/o driver. The car has: CAI, 90mm L-MAF, 30# injectors, 65mm TB, Edelbrock intake and heads, Crane 2031 cam, Roller rockers,BBK LTs, X-pipe, 2.5" Max flows w/ dumps, CF DS, 3.73's, Tremec TKO, adj. drag shocks, SSM upper & lower LCA's, Weld drag lites w/ skinnies and MT 275/50-15 DR's.

It dyno'd 290 RHP & 324 RWTQ. Best time to date was 12.427 @ 109.10 on a 1.662 60'. It's a light car, decent driver, lots of suspension mods to compliment the engine mods.

Re: What would this stang run?

I would have to agree with diggler!
Really depends - I have seen many run not much better than stock, however I have seen some in the 10s N/A. Like my friends, stock internal 302 - pistons not even cut yet, ported trick flows, holley system max also ported running 10.7@126, however car weighs 2800 with driver and alot of RandD work on car. Still very impressive no doubt. But really depends on combo, and much driver.
Ask at stang boards were they would no with what combo it would run.
www.steelcitystangs.com is pretty cool.

Re: What would this stang run?

theres many bolt on 5.0's around here running in the 12's with stock heads and cam so if your buddies has cam and heads depeding on specs i would say expect 12.60 or faster.
