1/4 mile times?????

Has anybody ran at the track with similar mods like mine and what times did you pull? I haven't had time to do the track this year and the only problem with my G-Tech is that I spin tires through 1st and 2nd gears so it is right now in-accurate. I need to get some slicks for the rear obviously before hitting the track. Much better power now with the cold air.

Re: 1/4 mile times?????

With drag radials and good air you should be in the low 14's, perhaps 13.90's.

My 1991 Camaro RS - B4C

Weighs 3660 with me in it.
Has 145,000+ miles
Has made countless 1/4 mile passes.

It now typically runs between 13.7 to 13.9 @ 97.9 mph
on the 1/4 at Kansas City International Raceway (KCIR)
temperatures were around 85*-90* with 25-40% humidity.

The elevation there is around 800 feet,

In really good air (cold, low humidity)
It has run a best of 13.52 November 12, 2006.

I slowed down a little last year with my best
time only being 13.608 @ 99.27 mph
in 51.3* temps with 69% humidity.

For a complete list of mods you can check out my
Drag Times page for a quick read:

Or if your really bored and want to spend some
time reading a lot of bs you can check out my
cardomain pages (I'm kind of long winded don't ya know)

Re: 1/4 mile times?????

My goal for now is to try and hit high 13s in the quarter. Maybe 13.8 or 13.7 possibly. I also am thinking of doing nitrous for this spring coming up. That and slicks should probably put me in the low 13s. What do you guys think?
