Launching RPM,s
Finally got my tranny back in.
425hp 469tq, tko600 manual and ford 9in w.389
What is a good launch rpm to start at w/ that power on slicks. also what would be a good tire pressure.
My first pass was with a t-5 driveshaft and street tires. Ran a 14.2 at 100mph b/c i spun tire all the way through 3rd. any recomendations for my next race day.

Re: Launching RPM,s
how big are the slicks? i would start around 3500 and work up.. tire pressure, start at 18 and go down.. but you actually want to do one thing first.. rpm's first to get a good base then tire pressure to allow it to hook better..
