Any ideas on what it will run in the 1/4?
NEW SET UP:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/vbga...ber-42058.html
ESTIMATED NUMBERS:
RWHP 550 AT 6900 RPM
RWTQ 450 AT 5200 RPM
I have to get all my safety stuff over the next few weeks and need to get some input on times.
The car will only go to the drag strip a few times a year.
I'm going to take it solo ll racing a few times a year and it's a daily driven.

1. A 416ci L92 or even an LS7 wouldnt even get those power numbers with that mild of a cam. An Ls7 would be RIGHT THERE!
2. You are looking at about 490-510hp at wheels.
3. If you want 550rwhp with a 6.0, then you need a 250-260 @.050" solid roller.... And yes I am talking about a 6.0 with l92's.
4. On slicks, in 3400lb car, with a 1.40 60ft, with your combination, probably looking mid 10's at 127-129mph. Just a rough guestimate, buts in the ball park.
Not trying to knock your set up by any means. I want this combo too! But with a 240ish duration cam in my car. I will be looking for about 510-525hp at tires.
Good LucK! Run it so I can decide how radical my cam needs to be.
Oh... And L92's are supposed to like a cam with a 12-14 degree spread between intake and exhaust. like a 232/244. Go over to LS1Tech.com and post in the L92 section....But do a search first and you will see that I am trying to lead you in the right path.

Heads have been decked .040" for a 11.0 CR
Cam is not in yet....So do you think a
G5x2 Cam (112 LSA 232/240 / 595/608)
Or a
TRex cam (110 LSA 242/248 / 608/612) (can be cut for 112-114 LSA)
would work better? (daily driven)
And the rear end will not take a 1.40 60ft time
THANKS....

You NEED to check out LS1Tech.com.
The 11:1 will help a lot. I didnt even mention the compression because it seems that everyone doing an LSX motor uses at least 11:1 when doing the heads.
Do a search over on LS1tech and then post back here with your results and thoughts on camshaft selection.

This will get you close, but you will not know exactly until you get to the track. You will need vehicle plus driver weight.
