question for 1bad406

hi i was wondering how much you let the front susp on your car extend. when your set up for 7.0 pro tree how much difference is there from no limiters.also what size front tires do you run thanks for any advice you can offer. i am trying to get my car set up for 7.0 this year thanks Ed

I don't let it extend any. I put some fresh chains on it before the last race at Brainerd and I think it helped cause I my worst light was a .417. It might have an inch of travel in it,if that. I havnt tried the pro tree in a long time without it being chained down, so it would be hard to compare exactly how much, I know its alot quicker going out, then the car lifting up first. I run M/T 25x4.5x15's on the front with 32psi.

hi thanks for the info. i was worried about traction problems with no ext. the chains are installed gonna test it in a week or two. found some problems with eng hope the changes get me the couple of tenths i needed.i have 26 in tires on the front i will probably have to change as i doubt my car will react faster than yours. do you run a pro brake? thanks again for the info Ed p.s. .417 worst is pretty sporty hope i can just get close to that

I'm making some changes too over the winter. I was running a Hipster pro brake, but changing to a BTE Top Sportsman valve body and a different case. Should be ready by the first of next week. I sent my carb off to be converted for alcohol also. Can't wait to get it to the track.
