they are as consistant as any other suspension. with lca relocation brackets, and adjustable everything available to us, they are a pretty excellent design. my car has been 7.7x's in the 1/8 with consistant 1.67-1.69 60's with a drag radial, so i'd say they are plenty consistant.

The bar going side to side is an Anti Roll Bar. Rear gears are 4.86 with M/T 29.5 x 10.5 Slicks. Has Jegstster lower controll arms and Hal qa1 shocks on rear with stock springs. Its a Wolferacecraft TQ arm. Up front it has stock struts with v6 springs.

Car: Camaro
Engine: 305-150/254 combo
Transmission: TH350 or T200
Axle/Gears: Srange 12 bolt; 5.14 or 5.38
I run the Pete Z bars with South Side Machine lower control arms, QA1 rear shocks, stock 6 cyl rear springs swapped side to side, air bag in right rear spring, stock rear sway bar and reinforced stock torque arm in rear. Up front I run SPA1 struts, Moroso trick springs and I freed up every mounting point for the front a-arms. My 60's run between 1.47 and 1.49 and never vary more than .01 all day. My best run is 11.47 in J/SA trim at heavier than my 3345 lbs minimum wt. Rear tire is 9 x 30 radial slicks with a 5.38 gear.

my car by all means isnt fast, but i do have spohn torque arm and full bolt on suspension.

i only got 1 run in on the new torque arm before the rear blew but stock torque arm with spohn LCAs has given me consistent 1.80-1.82 60's. i mean 1.801, 1.816, 1.813. and that 1.801 was with full brake stall off the line, the others were more flash runs. only run i got in with new setup was in colder weather and did 1.79 on full brake stall... so i dont think it helped all that much but the stock style setup is very consistant

i was out at pomona today for the finals, looked long and hard at alot of stockers, only aftermarket part i saw n the rears (other than 12bolts) was anti roll bars, most cars had stock lca's that were lightly boxed.

You may not have noticed the Pete Z bars if any had them as they mount above the lca. Some use a modified torque arm based set up while others run the Pete Z setup. Whichever you choose to run, use all components recommended by the Manufacturer.

as far as pinion angle is concerned, i'd start at -1* and tune from there. that seemed to work really well on my father's car, but all cars like a little different angle.

I left my pinion angle at whatever the sphon adjustable torque arm come set at and its worked really good. I think my car is pretty consistant for a stock style suspension car on 10.5 tires. Couple of weekends ago racing went 7.00 3 rounds in a row, then broke out with a 6.995

I still have the stock TQ arm on my car, with a poly bushing. My car 60s in the 1.60s with a best of 1.54. I have boxed stock LCAs, and Spohn anti squat brackets. I just won a Comp Eng. anti roll bar on Ebay, that will be going on this winter.

The consistency part is dependant on how functional your pieces are, if your using stock worn out tweaky parts, naturally nothing will be as accurate as newer parts that are fresh since there is less flex/movement at any given point.

That said a properly set-up 3rd gen stock suspension is every bit as consistant as anything out there and can tolerate LOTS of power and produce bracket winning results...just a matter of tuning the car to the track-just like any other car, you could have a 4 link car struggle worse on a given track than a stock susended car if the settings are'nt right.

You'll be happy with it if you chose this platform to bracekt race with, I know mine's won me lots of money over the years at many different tracks and a few different classes.
