It's a direct bolt in except it's about 2" wider on each side so your stock third gen wheels will stick out.

not to hijack but most guys seems they run a 15x8 with 4.5 bs on a stock rear so on a 4th gen would you just add 2in of bs to the wheels so it would be 6.5?

Its a direct bolt in, other than E-Brake cables hookup a little different, they are a little bit shorter on the 4th gen rear. I got mine to work so its not really a big deal. And... if your 3rd gen has drum brakes and the 4th gen has discs, then you will have to get a different porportioning valve, one for 4 wheel discs. And I believe the 4th gen is 2in. wider all together, so 1in. each side. Get some wheels with a 5.5in. backspacing.

I think that is it. Good luck.

Ah but I said, "The stock wheels will stick out"

You can use fourth gen rims or an aftermarket rim with the proper backspacing to correct for the wider housing.
