good night at the track
I posted last week about trying to get my low 14 second GTA in the 13's. I got a little closer tonight. I increased my fuel pressure up to about 45, I did not want to go to high with it because I have 24# injectors with no prom tuning, I think I may go a little higher next time because it did make a diference. Best time last week was a 14.3, tonight I ran a 14.176@94.07 mph. And the best run was a 14.153@95.91 mph on a 14.15 dial in with a .055 RT, which is a good RT for me, that is one thing I need to work on. Made it to third round.

Good job! What were your 60 fts? I trapped around 95.8, and ran a 14.41. Thats with a 2.1 60 ft though.

It's a bitch tryin to get good times at speedworld this time of year, what are your mods?I ran a 14.3@96 (2.1 60ft)with my 90 5.7 GTA, stock tires, with just a tuneup and Mobil 1. That however, was in Feb of 00. I'd love to take my Formy there, (it feels faster than my GTA when it ran that)but with this hot and humid weather....

The 14.176 was a 1.923 60' , 14.153 was 1.901 60' with a 8.986 1/8 . The car runs consistent 1.9 60's but rarely gets in the 8s in the 1/8. Current mods are :Crane 2032 cam, Comp 1.5 roller tip rockers, AFPR, 24# SVO inj., LT headers, and ported plenum. I still have no suspension mods at all, besides dropping the front sway bar. SFCs would certainly help.

box your lca's and put some lca relocation brackets on it and your set for rear suspension for a little while.
