ET STREETS are on!

Finally got my ET STREETS off a fellow member on this board. they were slightly used but in very good shape.

they are 26x11.50-16's and i mounted them to my spare 16x8 IROCZ rims. no tubes and no screws.

so far they seem great. i put them at about 20-22psi and ran them on the street yesterday for abit to try them out and they feel pretty good. definately tell its a wrinkle wall tire but they ride ok.

i tryed to do a quick little burnout/launch on this back road and the car doesnt want to spin. LOL just alittle bit of heating up and i was almost able to go full throttle off the launch with 2800 stall on the street!! i had minimal spin. it felt GREAT. i cant wait to get them on the strip this upcoming wednesday. it might be hot out but i expect a decent launch now and mid 13's!

the only question is, what PSI should i run at the track. i probly will change tires out there. 20psi seems like alot on these tires.. i was gonna try maybe 16? i might start at 20 tho to see how they run like that.

it's about damn time! lol!

i'd also say to start at 20, though i think that 18psi will probably work the best with your combo. but the more you CAN run, the better as it will eat less mph on the top end.

Congrats!
You will love them - don'y do many burnout on street, will kill em real quick..
They will get decent miles if you don't beat them on street, if you do cuts life less than 1/2.

Also, try to get as many rpms while staging as you can with out pushing
through - will usually get you better ets.
Some cars like flashing better, but I found most of mine liked more rpms I could get.
My cars F"ED!

Alot of guys say run about 14 PSI, but, this is not best for me. With my car, it trys to "sway" from the 660 ft on. This gets real scary. I've found that 18-19 PSI works best for me, as it keeps the car straight, and gets me my best 60' times too. I run tubes, and rim screws. Just experiment, as every car is different. When I installed my new converter, I had to lower the pressure a bit, but, after learning the launch with the new converter, believe it or not, the PSI is best at 18. BTW, my car weighs around 3565 with me in it. The overall weight of the car is key.
