New best with the turd.
Finally got my turd to the track with the new motor/trans setup. Last year it still had the stock 700 in it, which didn't last long. Over the winter I put in a TH400 with Hughes converter, spohn torque arm, B&M shifter, 28" tall M/T ET Radials and LCA relocation brackets. That solved my traction problems Still needs some gear though, only trapping 4800 RPM with the 3.42's and peak power on the dyno was at 6000
85*, 60% and a 27.6 baro

Thanks Jim. 11's as soon as I get around to putting the new gears in When I started the project I wanted it to run 12.20's and it did that in the heat so I'm satisfied.

Hey you're not doing too bad with 2.73's. My 1/8 mile on that pass was 7.819@88.65 so you aren't too far behind considering those gears. Tell you what, I wish I could get away with 2.73's in my sh!tbox considering I have no overdrive.

Those are some pretty stout dyno numbers. Any thoughts about some spray in the future? I have those thoughts all the time lol.

I have some 3.42's if you want them.
No spray for me, motor was built for n/a. Plus it's a bracket car so I'm just trying to make it consistent. There's some things inside that motor that wouldn't like being hit with the juice

What's the motor setup? Which AFRs, what cam, how much compression, what intake, headers, etc. A 650 might be a tad on the small side.
As for the taller tires - are you going to switch to 4.10s?
Good luck and keep us posted!
