Car: 1987 IROC-Z Camaro
Engine: 5.7 350 TPI - SLP Runners, AFPR, MSD Goodies
Transmission: 700R4 - Shift Kit, Corvette Servo
Axle/Gears: BW 9 bolt, 3.27s
you could start with a little more detail.

What kinda 305? LG4, L69, L03, LB9, that would help
Any mods?
What gears?
What model year?

What do you need to change anything for? Just go sign up for SCCA.

Auto cross, road course, super speedway?? You need to do a lot of reading. There is no "magical" set-up that covers "track" racing. There are many ways to build and plan your suspension. What are you trying to do with the car?

If your looking to just get out and have fun.....

Best bang for your buck is to get in with Porsche club. YEs i know that is a german little sportscar having nothing to do with Camaros. But Out in California, the riverside region Porsche club of America holds about 6 or 8 autocrosses a year. These guys are better than SCCA because you pay your 50 bucks and you generally get 3 practice sessions ussually 3-4 runs each as well as a 3 competion runs. In SCCA you get your three runs for 40 bucks thank you have nice day. Generally all PCAs will let you in and run as long as you keep your car clean, safe, have a smile and be willing to take the occasional jab about how slow your car will go. Then whop *** on em find out that your car really aint that bad. In fact is better through the autocross then oh lets say, a Porsche Boxster. Yea puts a big smile on your face. Oh yea these porsche guys. Just cuz they have the money to buy em doesn't mean they are complete *******s. They still dig burn outs and the occasional power drift. Its supposed to be fun not work.
