adding TC and gears to crate engine...

adding TC and gears to crate engine...

heres what I've got...

350HO crate engine, factory stock w/ 330HP/380ft-lbs

edelbrock vortec RPM intake
edelborck 1405 600 cfm, no choke, tuned
hedman LT hedders, 3 inch catback, 80 series muffler
K&N open element
MSD SC wires
Proform tuned dizzy, street strip springs&weights, 50K coil
160* stat and 12* initial timing.

700r4 tranny with b&m shift improver kit, and supercooler.
2.73 open rear.

I have slp zr1 wheels w/ kumho 245/45/17s, spohn sfcs, gr2 shocks, intrax springs, 4th gen seats...

weight reductions have been kept simple, removed ac, sound deading under carpet, and junk spare wheel.

whats going in...
TCI 2800-3600 stall converter, and open 3.42s

what do you think i should run after gears and stall w/ these "mods?"

I was thinking low 13s myself, everything properly running and in good tune and all.

I think you'll do the one-legged dance. 2.60 60's with great mph and a 14 sec timeslip. Get a posi and some gears to go with it.

input shaft is 2 tenths wider on the tci, looks like i'm throwing the stock converter back in tomorrow...
