hey guys this is a monster drag radial can we fit them when i looked at rick heads car in orlando he had the 30" drag radial but had a very slight mini tub by the way im not above getting out the sledge id really like to run these and would consider a slight mini tub thanks for any help

The only real "mini-tub" you can do to a third gen is to square the corners on the inside fenders. The inner part of the fender is the rear frame rail, if you can call it that so you can't really mini-tub it to give more room.. Removing the bump stop helps gain a little more access.

325/50-15 is just under 28" tall so the height of the tire isn't going to be a factor. They're going to have to be installed on a 10" rim. The tread width is 11.0" but the width of the tire is 13.0". Since the tire is less than 28", they should fit with minimal modifications.

I'm going with a 29.5 x 10.5 slick next year. I don't have them installed yet but I know it's going to be a tight fit. Tire height is 29.9", tread is 10.2" and tire width is 13.1". I already have a bunch of inner fender modifications but the new tires may require more.

yeah thats how rick heads car is the tops are squared with aluminum pieces its more or less a little pie cut out of the stock wheel wells well i didnt want to buy them and not have any way of getting them on there so thanks man ill let you know what happens

this is the tire that i run now.did the same mods to mine and it is still a tight fit.

I would also really like to run 325/50 Drag Radials on a 15x10 wheel with a 5 inch backspace. OneFast- Do you have any rubbing during cornering or when the suspension dips?

any particular reason your wanting to run the 325/50? the guys running Rich Maitre's N/A Shootout Drag Radial class is limited to the 275/60/15 and it not only looks excellent (doesn't have that goofy short steam roller look) but they are way down in the 9.2x range...the problem you'll have tucking that wide of a rear tire is not gonna be with the fender well, cause it can be easily modified, but actually the lca. you'll run into it with the sidewall if you put enough backspacing to keep that massive tire under the car...somwhere around 6-6.5" of backspacing

just fyi, a 15x10 with 5" backspacing is going to have the tire sticking out of the fenderwell. i'm runing a 275/60/15 on a 15x10 with 5.5" backspacing and the bulge of the tire is flush with the top of the fender...let's try to find a picture for you....

here is the best i could do for you, i think it shows what i'm talking about pretty well.
