Dragstrip runs with a few mods to an LG4
I took my 82 TA to the drag strip a few weeks ago.
The car has
245/50/16s Indy 500s
3.73 gears
Open element
Hooker 2055s(1 5/8th)
cutout before the cat
catco cat
hooker catback(all three inches)
180 t-stat(Car runs a tad below 160)
Ebaich Springs, worn out shocks
I did a 3-4 second burnout before each run with around 30 psi in the tires.
I brake torqued it to 1200 rpm(or around there) to launch. The 60 ft was 2.2.
The cutout was uncapped for the middle and left slip.

Here's my best from my 83 SC with an 84 LG4 that had 225,000 miles on it.
Small cam (.420" lift), headers and catback; T5 and 3.42 open rear.

What is the elevation like over in WI? MY LG4 cut 2.3 short times with open diff with 3.23 gears. None the less, glad to see an lg4 into the 15s. I think with exhaust, posi, and gears, i could be there as well.
