ZZ4 Intake
I am going to be swapping my stock 84 Z28 intake for a ZZ4 intake. What gains if any will I see at the track?
The car currently runs 13.9's@98-99mph and 2.0 60ft's on street tires.
Rest of mods in my sig.
Thanks

for starters the intake is aluminum. so you will get weight benefits and also may run a little cool air. um maybe good for 20-30hp over the stop manifold. but i think you will see the most gains with it once you install everything in your sig. that you have. but other than that i cant tell you how much you will gain in time.

The stock manifold is aluminum. If anything, the ZZ4 intake is a little heavier than the stock LG4/L69 aluminum intakes (Canada LG4's got cast iron).
The more the mods made, the more the gain will be. You may see .1-.2 benefit. Or, none at all.
