Need times for 84 T/A HO
I might be getting an 84 T/A in the near future and wondering what kind of times it would run.
Car is an 84 T/A with L69 and 5spd. So it does have the 3.73 in the rear. Car is supposed to be bone stock, no exhaust, maybe an air filter, that is all. So what time would I be looking at, I read somewhere the 83 Z-28 with L69 was supposed to run a 15.0, but not sure on that.
Any help would be appreciated.

I believe they ran 15.3 new all stock at sea level. There was a very cool magazine write up from 1984 that was posted in the History section a while back try searching for it. They battle it out between the 84 Z and the 84 5.0 stang.

Yeah your looking at mid to low 15's in good condition. I know a guy who is running low 14's with just bolt ons with an L69. Its a pretty nice little 305. Good Luck.
