first run new motor
well now that i had to sell the fogger to put the motor togeather again (3rd time this year) i finally got to a track again. went to anaconda montana eleavation 5200' but the denisty alt. was all the way up to 9400' ran a best of
1.78 60foot
8.06 1/8 mile
88.9 mph
i was discourged until i herd how high the corrected eleavation was .
where do you find the correction factors ? i know there out there . i'm hopeing to be in the high 11's in the 1/4 at a lower track

This year has been relatively cool weather-wise for us, so we've had more runs in the 8xxx DA than 9xxx, which has been norm in summers past. I've seen it over 10,000' more than once.
Lowest DA I've ever run was 900' on a cool Sunday morning (7:09 a.m.) at the Div V ET finals in Topeka in 2002. That was our first and only time trial before eliminations - which started for Sportsman at 2:30 that afternoon - DA had climbed to the 1500' range by then.

i couldn't believe they actually list anaconda!
just correcting to sea level it ran a 7.61 let alone how HOT it was !
