If you plan to drive on the street with the tires then I would suggest that you buy either Kumho Ecsta Supra 712, of Yokohama AVS ES100 tires. I used the the Yokohamas at summit point recently and they were soft enough that I had chuncks of melted rubber coming off of the tires and I now have about 2000 miles on them. I use them for autocross also (every other week) and I expect to get about 4500 miles from the tires.

i am a little confused, in your first post, you use the word daily, as in a driver. in your second post, you say you have a second set of wheels. are you looking for a full on competion tire, or are you looking for a tire you can drive to work on everyday?

For autox if you dont want a full-on race tire its hard to beat the Kuhmo MX's.

it really depends, the Kuhmo MX is very hard to beat, it will be ok driving ot and from events. the Yoko A032R would be a good choice also.

Your choices will of course be limited by what tires size you can run.
