Alright guys, let the predictions begin
Unlike 90% of these "what would I run?" posts, I'm actually gonna run my car. Everything I've done, and not done to the car is in sig. I will be heading to the track tomorrow for the real results, just thought I'd give this post a full day to accumulate some predictions. According to my title the car weighs 3404lbs. Not sure how accurate this is. If it is true, with me in the car, it would put it around 3525lbs race weight. I have taken out the back seats, all the bs like spare, jack, and insulation. Along with the speakers in the back lid, and some other little things. Not sure how much I've taken off, but prob not a whole lot. Let me hear what you think!

And the winner is...
Sorry for the late reply. Started the night badly. Got through my burnout, then got backed off b/c I was leaking fluid. I was pissed to say the least. Figured out it was a loose sensor leaking antifreeze. Problem solved. By the time I got back up to the line it was already 8:40, why you might ask? All of the stupid 4 wheelers, full dragsters, and jr. dragsters. Most of the time I don't mind, but give me a break. Ugh. Anyway, after my rant... My only pass I took off from idle. Which was about 500rpm. Here's my time:
Reaction: .638(.500 is a perfect light)
60 ft: 2.03
1/8 ET: 8.70
1/8 MPH: 82.78
1/4 ET: 13.45
1/4 MPH: 104.11
Not bad for only one pass. I know it could have gotten faster. Paid $12 for one run. Oh well, so much left to do to it. Btw, I was racing an '02 Z28...he ran 14.12--

Looks like I was the closest!
Once you get your combo sorted out and tuned 12 sec timeslips should be no problem.

Oh definitely. What most people don't understand is that I haven't even tuned this thing yet. I'd say with timing, and some fuel pressure adjustments, low 13's and MAYBE high 12's are in the picture. Then when I actually finish this thing, aka--chip, injectors, gears, and tranny/stall, this car will run low 12's all day. I've been told by several people that tranny/stall is worth near a full second. After lastnight, I believe it. I shifted at 5500rpm on the 1-2, it actually shifted at 6000rpm. On the 2-3 shift I shifted the same, but wouldn't actually shift til 6500rpm. I knew it was gonna be my only pass, so I wasn't about to let off the throttle. It wasn't hurting to pull that far, but it took my tranny 1000rpm to shift!! There is a lot of time left in this car. I haven't even got to play with launching it differently or anything. I'm fairly excited about what is to come with this car.

Just thought that I'd add a little something. I pulled the #7 plug Saturday morning just for the hell of it. Oh yeah, all kinds of fouled. So replaced that plug, did some fuel pressure adjustments, and then took it down the road for a pass. I think 13.20's are feasable. It's a shoein for 13.30's. The thing was running lean somethin fierce. It liked the fuel pressure. Also tried foot stalling as much as I could. I think I will see some good results with this as well. Can't wait to hit the track again!

What elevation is your track? Low 14's for an LS1 car is one non-driving ****. I ran mid to high 13.50's @ 103 - bone stock w/ my 2.73 geared A4 car.
