I have a set of both. Which should i use to get the best weight transfer and launch out of my car at the drag strip? I don't give a crap about ride quality. I know neither is great, but I don't have the $$ to blow on drag shocks. I currently have toasted v8 stockers up front.
Thanks for any input!

Doesn't really matter. All factory shocks have a 50/50 rating. Unless you have a lot of chassis adjustments to fine tune the rear chassis, factory shocks are fine.
All the shock does is control the spring oscillations. Some performance street shocks add more valving to make them stiffer but they're still 50/50.

Springs is a little different and you can't just go by what engine is in the car. Third gen rear springs all carry roughly the same weight. The difference is the performance level of the car. It's all a matter of spring rate.
WS6 or IROC springs have a heavy spring rate. That makes the springs stiffer so it can handle better without a lot of body roll in corners. Normal springs have a lighter spring rate and will have a softer ride.
To tell the difference you need to measure the thickness of the spring wire.
I have V6 springs in the front of my car and I think V6 springs in the rear. They were both a softer spring than the original IROC springs.
