Whats a good 60ft and reaction time?

I took my car to the track...my car had some problems, my float in my carb got stuck, but i did make 1 good run in the 1/8 mile. My reaction was .601 60 ft was 2.213 that good or bad? first time ever at the track on street tires.

Good is a relative thing!

1.85 60 ft is good for my truck. But, that is my opinion.

Invest in some slicks or drag radials to use at the track. This will make you more consistent and help with tuning etc.

Also, it will save your street tires!

With good street tires, anything quicker than 2.0 is good. 2.2 is average. 2.4 and slower is poor. If your tires have a lot of mileage on them or are more than a few years old, don't expect good 60' times.

I consider a reaction time slower than .550 poor but it's possible that .600 can still win a race.

That's still not a bad reaction time for a first time. Usually someone's first time is 1.xxx or slower.

Did better than me on reaction times lol. Made 4 runs my first time out and I got my 60' times down to 2.19 from a worst of 2.68.
