Dynoed at 386 hp and 360 lb. ft at the wheels.
LT4 heads and intake. Accel DFI.
3.73 gears, T56.
All in a 95' Trans AM.
At a 15 percent loss thru the drivetrain the motor is pushing 455 hp and 425 lb ft at the crank.
What kind of times will a car like this run? The suspension is where it'll need work. It has eibach lowering springs on it and Bilstein shocks. I believe the rest is stock. 17x9 SS wheels with good tread for traction.
What if I got some slicks?

12.2-12.5, depends on traction. I wouldn't go with slicks as the rear might end up breaking.
You won't be able to really dump the clutch with that setup anyway. Get some drag radials and finesse launch it.
My 96 WS6 Formula ran a best of 12.4@111 with a 1.75 short time on Nitto Drag Radials. Not riding the clutch but having "fast feet" kind of launch. Mine had stock heads but the HOT cam.
Sounds like a nice car. Good luck.

I would guess at 3400 lbs that car is gonna be somewhere around high 11's -> low 12's depending on the tires.

I think it's about as strong as you can make the 4th gen rear without totally modifying it. The car also has BBK LCA's and a panhard rod. Next it needs LCA relocation brackets because it has Eibach lowering springs on it too.
A guy in GMHTP magazine had a car with almost Identical power#'s and 4.10 gears. He ran a 11.3 on drag radials or slicks, can't remember.
My guess at the very best is 11.7 or 11.8. I think with a "decent" 60 footer it'll run super low 12's all day.
The previous owner got the car to run a 12.37. He is 43 years old and didn't really look like the quick shifter to me, plus he said that traction was a real pain.

You lose a lot more through an automatic transmission. It takes a lot of HP to power the hydraulic pump and rotate the clutch assemblies inside the tranny.
