went to the track the other night, it was humid like no other. best time I ran was a 13.6 with the exhaust opened up, 13.8
closed.

1st run was against a nice silver 350Z, bone stock, beat him by about 3 lengths.

2nd run: blue Mach 1 'stang. Hung well out of the hole, but beat him by about 1.5 lengths at the lights.

I was still pulling 2.0 60's and cutting .07-.1 lights. All of my times were slower though, and everyone I talked to was running nearly .5 seconds slower, so I think I did fairly well. Only other notable runs were against a red-lighting drag camaro and 2 runs against my brother's 7 cylinder 78 Trans Am (long story short: broken rocker arm, and he couldn't hear it )

Interesting. Do you have any info on either of the cars you raced?

I dont know what they ran. Friday nights they don't show the times at the track so that its a Test-and-Tune environment. My guess would be that the Z ran a 14.0, while the Mach 1 ran a 13.8... just my guesses though.

But with that, I'm out of here. I'm leaving for Colorado Springs first thing in the morning and won't have access to a computer again until mid August. Happy racing to everyone else.
